Mexico Reports 28 Measles Deaths as Cases Surpass 9,000
Mexican Health Minister David Kershenobich and President Claudia Sheinbaum provided a latest update about the measles outbreak. According to the authorities, so far 28 deaths have been reported due to this outbreak and nationwide 9074 cases have been reported. This outbreak has spread in all the Mexican states, while Chihuahua and Jalisco are most affected states. President Sheinbaum emphasized that the government has 28 million vaccines, which are more than required to cover the total population.
